We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heating Installations Engineer to join our growing field operations team.

This role is responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of domestic heating systems, including gas boilers as well as low-carbon technologies such as air source heat pumps.

The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in safety, quality, compliance, and customer experience. Whether a background in traditional gas/oil heating or newer heat pumps, we will utilise your existing skills as well as upskilling to newer technologies via our sponsorship programme, so that you can work on a multitude of appliances.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, test, commission, and maintain domestic heating systems
  • Carry out Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installations where qualified
  • Complete rigorous testing, certification, and reporting
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and deliver works with minimal disruption
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles where applicable
  • Comply with all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) policies and procedures

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience with heating installation in occupied domestic environments, with relevant trade qualifications
  • Demonstrable apprenticeship/training course to validate experience
  • High standards of workmanship and compliance, whilst delivering efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in documentation and certification
  • Strong understanding of current legislation, standards, and best practices
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team

Insulation Installer and Multi-Trade Operative

We are looking for a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to support the delivery of loft insulation and ventilation improvements in residential properties.

Your primary focus will be the installation and upgrade of loft insulation, along with assisting in the implementation of effective ventilation systems to enhance energy efficiency and home performance.

We deliver the full range of domestic energy efficiency measures (heat pumps, solar PV, insulation, boilers), with ambitious plans for growth.

We are looking for a skilled Insulation Installer and Multi-Trade Operative to support the delivery of loft insulation and ventilation improvements in residential properties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Retrofit Installation: Perform PAS 2030/2035 compliant installation of retrofit measures, including insulation, sealing, ventilation systems, and fabric upgrades.
  • Ventilation Upgrades: Support the installation of ventilation solutions, including coring, fitting, and replacing fans to ensure proper indoor air quality.
  • Insulation: The installation of loft insulation to meet the requirements of PAS 2030/2035 to improve the overall property envelope efficiency.
  • Fabric Repairs & Remedials: Carry out minor carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and general building maintenance required before or after the installation of energy efficiency measures.
  • Site Preparation & Protection: Protect customer homes by moving furniture and safeguarding floors and belongings before beginning work.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform internal quality checks and provide photographic or written evidence to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Customer Service: Represent the company in occupied properties, delivering a polite, respectful service, and explaining the nature of the work to residents.

Head of Private Retrofit

We are seeking a commercially driven leader to own and scale our private customer division as Head of Private Retrofit. This role has full accountability for revenue growth, operational delivery, and profitability across self-funded retrofit projects and associated aftercare services.

You will lead the end-to-end customer journey—from lead generation and sales through installation and long-term service—ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused experience. You will also identify and develop new product opportunities (e.g. EV charging) and present robust business cases to support strategic growth.

This is an office-based role at our PO9 location, working closely with sales, operations, and installation teams to maximise conversion from existing and new opportunities.

We are seeking a driven individual to lead and scale the business division focused on our private, self-funded customers. With the new Warmer Homes Plan (WHP), we see private customers as a key element of our overall growth strategy building on the existing business that we do.

You will be responsible for strategic growth, operational delivery, and commercial profitability of retrofit installation projects and aftercare packages. The role will take new or existing customers from cradle to grave with a suitable package of measures to fulfil their plans to improve their homes and set off on their carbon reduction journey. We will also maintain long-term relationships with customers through ongoing service and care packages.

Key aspects of the role will include enhancing the current customer journey (sales, processes and systems), as well as identifying new or emerging opportunities such as Electric vehicle (EV) charging and presenting business cases to internal stakeholders. This is an office-based role from our PO9 location, working with our existing team to nurture more sales from the opportunities that we have. The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring that we continue to work to the highest customer service, safety and compliance standards while supporting Aura Retrofit’s mission of innovation and sustainability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create a step change in revenue from private, self-funded customers
  • Create propositions to attract and convert customers, leveraging Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) funding and consumer leasing/ financing where relevant
  • Oversee the sales pipeline through from lead generation to contract signature, managing both prospective households as well as lead generation partners
  • Manage customers through project installation and aftercare, ensuring a quality customer experience
  • Review, modify and potentially implement new sales & customer journey software to facilitate a smooth experience
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring we deliver works with minimal disruption
  • Build positive relationships with our installation teams to ensure they achieve the best possible outcome
  • Manage the department P&L, ensuring commercial viability of projects and healthy gross margins across our product range, with a clear understanding of project job/ costings
  • Maximise follow-up sales of other products such as ongoing service & repair
  • Ensure works comply with all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) policies and procedures

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
