That is why we are pleased to announce that Aura Retrofit has progressed from Cyber Essentials certification to Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
This latest achievement further strengthens our commitment to maintaining high standards across every part of our business and adds another important accreditation to our growing list of industry-recognised credentials.
From Cyber Essentials to Cyber Essentials Plus
Aura Retrofit previously achieved Cyber Essentials certification, demonstrating our commitment to protecting our organisation against common cyber threats.
Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against a range of common cyber attacks. It focuses on five important areas of technical security, including firewalls, secure configuration, access control, malware protection and software updates.
Our progression to Cyber Essentials Plus takes this commitment a step further.
While Cyber Essentials assesses whether the required security controls are in place, Cyber Essentials Plus adds independent technical testing to verify that those controls are actually working effectively in practice.
For Aura Retrofit, that additional level of independent verification is important.
It means our approach to cyber security has not simply been assessed on paper. Our systems and security controls have undergone a more rigorous technical assessment by an appropriately qualified assessor.
